不是工作職稱，而是工作內容

每當你在工作的時候，都在做些甚麼?

重要性是甚麼，困難度又在哪,

帶來了甚麼改變，創造出甚麼價值?

"我為每一個停留在我桌前的人，帶來了一些改變"

"我讓我的老闆對於公司的挑戰與任務信心十足"

"我完成了最終銷售"

如果你的工作內容只是"出席"，該為自己的工作內容增加一些重要性了。

 

What's your job?

Not your job title, but your job. What do you do when you're doing your work? What's difficult and important about what you do, what change do you make, what do you do that's hard to live without and worth paying for?

"I change the people who stop at my desk, from visitors to guests."

"I give my boss confidence."

"I close sales."

If your only job is "showing up," time to raise the stakes.

永遠可以有更好的表達方式

你一定看過這些標示：
"恕不接受信用卡"
"個人貴重物品、請自行妥善保管、如有遺失，恕不負責"
"本店廁所恕不提供外客免費使用"

其實，沒有人規定這些標示一定要用這麼不禮貌的口氣，才能凸顯出重要性或是達到告知對方的目的。

"為了盡可能維持價格低廉，我們只能接受現金，但方便的是，隔壁就有提款機了"
"我們非常樂意為您留意個人物品，但我們可能正忙碌於製作您的咖啡"
"店內洗手間專門提供給我們敬愛的消費者所使用，進來逛逛買些東西吧! "

事實上，只要將意思表達清楚且語帶尊重，不但能更有效的溝通，當問題發生時，對方也較不容易將問題怪罪在你身上。

They're your words, choose them

You've seen the signs:

Guess what? There's no legal requirement that signs have to make you sound like a harsh jerk in order to carry weight or to inform the public.

Our spotlessly clean restrooms are for our beloved customers only, so come on in and buy something! Also, there's a public bathroom in the library down the street.

In fact, you might find that when you speak clearly and with respect, you not only communicate more effectively, but people are less likely to blame you when something goes wrong.

我如何能夠擺脫恐懼?

這個問題問錯了。

唯一能夠擺脫恐懼的方法，是停止做那些可能不會成功的事情，停止將自己推離舒適圈，停止為了那些至關重要的事情付出努力。

對的問題應該是，"我如何能與恐懼共處?"

恐懼不是敵人，麻木不仁才是。

The only way to get rid of the fear is to stop doing things that might not work, to stop putting yourself out there, to stop doing work that matters.

No, the right question is, "How do I dance with the fear?"

本次路線小心得

堅持自己的堅持

從一開始挑戰中社路, 就立下了爬坡絕不落地的堅持, 因為自覺一停就無法再繼續下去, 可是在這趟冷水坑擎天崗路線中, 被這個堅持整的很慘, 面對幾個陡坡真的只有無數的幹字. 當看著一些伙伴在中途停下來休息一下後恢復得很快, 把跟烏龜一樣雖然沒停下但也很緩慢的我給追過時 , 也是會想, 不落地的堅持是不是很無謂, 或是自以為休息以後就會騎不下去但其實適度休息後會騎得更順? 但根據多年來的自我了解, 對於不擅長的事情, 走烏龜路線比較適合我, 所以...沒有哪一種方法是最正確的, 只有最適合自己的!

想方設法達成它

腳力還不夠的新手又想要不落地就只好靠意志力跟腦子來騎囉! (自以為很有腦), 強大的意志力基本上就跟開無雙一樣, 而且, 下定決心不落地以後, 其實爬坡也變的挺好玩的, 因為體力不夠所以得仔細觀察眼前坡度的變化來配合換檔, 時時注意自己的心跳跟腿部的負荷狀況把握難得的平路或緩坡來適度休息, 確保自己能一直不落地的爬上去, 甚至偶爾取巧趁著空無來車的時候往坡度比較緩的對向車道騎~

但如果真的心跳爆掉那也只好牽車, 為了不要有那一天的出現, 最基本的腳力還是要練的!

人生小心得

跟一堆又輕速度又快的公路車的騎乘路上, 偶爾會想當初把Alies牽回家的決定是對的嗎? 爬坡累到靠北或是平路也騎不快時這個念頭尤其明顯, 想說, 要是騎著少了個幾公斤的公路車應該能夠輕鬆點? 但很快的, 會回想起牽Alies的初衷是甚麼, 騎車的本質又是甚麼? 現在的我已經有將Alies的性能發揮到最大了嗎?

心態跟自我鍛鍊是最重要的事

當資本只有五百萬的時候, 會覺得要是有五千萬那可以做更多事情, 但是, 你能確定你知道如何好好運用那五千萬甚至五億嗎? 想想很多砸大錢下去卻失敗的投資案吧~ 一次到位之前, 總得知道什麼叫做一次到位, 而且將自己準備好能夠應付一次到位之後的一切, 況且, 在那之前的所有風景, 都是最棒的教訓與經驗!

有碼表還是好的

趁著Liv / giant的春季女人節活動, 把Alies Touring牽回家快2個月以後, 終於買了Cateyes無線碼表裝上去(這句話看起來還真像是廣告置入句), 有了碼表才真的覺得, 碼表真重要!

認真作一件事情, 需要被肯定, 也需要被激勵, 當然也需要被警惕,  碼表上的數字, 會告訴你付出的努力夠不夠, 會告訴你再付出多少努力就能到達目的地, 會激勵你為自己所完成的里程數感到有所成就, 會讓你檢討自己在每一趟的騎乘是不是沒有盡到全力~

講的碼表好神, 但就是這樣! 很希望創業路上也能有個每月損益表還有他人言語以外的碼表, 看了能夠安心的為小小成就而快樂, 而不是像現在這樣, 總是覺得自己哪裡作不好, 成就感的存在感很低, 可以用來檢討的面向又太多, 在這種情況下, 再怎麼樣跟自己精神喊話, 偶爾也是很容易灰心的...
